Winners:

Introduction

1. The promoter is Auto & General Services Pty Ltd (ABN 61 003 617 909), AFSL No. 241 411 (operating under the brand ‘Budget Direct’) of Level 13, Toowong Tower, 9 Sherwood Road, Toowong QLD 4066, contact number 1300 858 747 (’ we’, ‘us’, ‘our’ or ’ Promoter’) on behalf of the insurer, Auto & General Insurance Company Ltd (ABN 42 111 586 353) (Insurer).

How to Enter

2. These Terms and Conditions apply to the promotion “Budget Direct & Dwayne Bennett Jersey Competition” where entrants must, during the Promotion Period:
   1. Watch Dwayne Bennett’s rap video “It’s a Classic” at https://bdins.co/DwaynesJersey;
   2. correctly answer a multiple-choice question via https://bdins.co/DwaynesJersey; and
   3. complete all the required steps and fields on the entry form and submit the form via https://bdins.co/DwaynesJersey;
   for the chance to win one (1) of four (4) Dwayne Bennett Classic Jerseys (see the Eligibility and Participation section below) (Promotion).
3. The Promotion commences at 11:00am on Tuesday 18th March 2025 and ends at 11:00am on Tuesday 1st April 2025 (Promotion Period). All times are in Australian Eastern Standard Time. Entrants are ineligible to participate outside the Promotion Period.
4. Entry into the Promotion and any offer of Budget Direct insurance is subject to the Insurer deeming that the risk is acceptable in accordance with its underwriting criteria. Any advice is general only and does not consider an individual’s needs.
5. Information on how to enter, mechanics of entry and prizes form part of these Terms and Conditions. Entry into the Promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. If there is any conflict between these Terms and Conditions and any other published material, these Terms and Conditions prevail.

Eligibility and Participation

6. Entrants must meet all of the following criteria during the Promotion Period and at the Draw Date to participate in the Promotion (Eligible Entrant):
   1. live in Australia, and if requested by the Promoter, be able to provide a valid Australian residential address;
   2. be aged 18 years or over;
   3. be an Australian resident. Australian resident means a person who resides in Australia at the time of entry into the Promotion and either:
      1. holds Australian or New Zealand citizenship; or holds an Australian permanent residency visa; or
      2. have resided in Australia continuously for six (6) months or more on a temporary work visa at the time of participating in the Promotion;
   4. not be a director, officer or employee of the Promoter, its related entities or agents and service providers, or any other person directly associated with the conduct of the Promotion or their immediate family;
   5. provide a valid email and postal address; and
   6. agree to accept the Promotion’s Terms and Conditions.
7. Each Eligible Entrant will be awarded a maximum of one (1) entry into the Promotion with each entry having an equal chance of winning the Prize. Additional entries will not be awarded for additional entry form submissions.
8. Entries will be deemed accepted at the time of receipt by the Promoter, or as determined by the Promoter. Entries received will be considered final by the Promoter.
9. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify or delete any entry which contains (in the reasonable opinion of the Promoter) any content which is incomplete or indecipherable or contains profanity, potentially insulting, scandalous, racist, unlawful, abusive, objectionable, inflammatory, or defamatory language.
10. The Promoter may request the Entrant to produce appropriate photo identification and other documentation to confirm, to the Promoter’s satisfaction, the Entrant’s eligibility to enter the Promotion and the validity of their entry, failing which any/all entries of that Entrant will be deemed invalid.
11. If there is a dispute regarding the conduct of the Promotion, Entrants agree that the decision of the Promoter will be final and no further correspondence will be entered into.

Draw and Prizes

12. The Prize Draw will take place at Level 7, Toowong Tower, 9 Sherwood Road, Toowong QLD 4066 at 1.00pm (AEST) (Draw Time) on Tuesday 1st April 2025 (Draw Date).
13. The Prize Pool consists of four (4) x Dwayne Bennett Classic Jerseys valued at AU$160 each (each, a Prize and collectively, the Prize Pool). The Promoter will endeavour, to the extent possible, to provide the Eligible Winner’s chosen size (available sizes are Small, Medium, Large, Extra Large and XX-Large). This is subject to stock availability at the time and the Promoter makes no warranty in this regard. If the chosen size is not available, the Promoter will provide the closest available size at their sole discretion.
14. The total value of the Prize Pool is $640 AUD (excl. GST).
15. A total of four (4) Eligible Entrants will be randomly drawn via electronic draw on the Draw Date or Unclaimed Draw Date, as is relevant, to each win one (1) Prize (Eligible Winner).
16. Each Eligible Winner will be notified via their nominated email address provided on the entry form within two (2) days of the Draw Time, or by no later than 1:00pm (AEST) on Thursday 3rd April 2025, and their name will be published on the Terms and Conditions page via https://www.dwaynebennett.com.au/DwaynesJerseyTerms.html within twenty-eight (28) days of the Draw Date, and will remain on the Promoter’s website for no less than twenty-eight (28) days. All reasonable steps will be taken by the Promoter to notify the winners.

Unclaimed Prize Draw

17. A Prize will be deemed unclaimed if the Promoter is not reasonably able to contact the Eligible Winner by 1:00pm (AEST) Tuesday 1st July 2025 (Unclaimed Draw Time and Date) in accordance with clause 16.
18. If a Prize remains unclaimed at the Unclaimed Draw Time and Date, an unclaimed prize draw (Unclaimed Prize Draw) will be held at the location listed in clause 12 using the same method detailed in clause 15, at the Unclaimed Draw Time and Date, subject to any written directions made under applicable State or Territory legislation.
19. The Eligible Winner of the Unclaimed Prize Draw will be notified via their nominated email address in which they entered the Promotion within three (3) days of the Unclaimed Draw Time, or by no later than 1:00pm (AEST) Friday 4th July 2025 and their name will be published on the Terms and Conditions page via https://www.dwaynebennett.com.au/DwaynesJerseyTerms.html within twenty-eight (28) days of the Unclaimed Draw Time and Date, and will remain on the Promoter’s website for no less than twenty-eight (28) days. All reasonable steps will be taken by the Promoter to notify the winners.

Redemption of Prize

20. The Eligible Winner must provide the Promoter with a valid Australian postal address as the Prize will be supplied by the Promoter and will be delivered via a postal service. Once the Prize has been dispatched to the Eligible Winner, the Promoter takes no responsibility for the Prize being damaged, lost or stolen. The Eligible Winner is responsible for providing their correct address and the Promoter will not be liable if the Prize is sent to the wrong address. The Promoter will not accept PO Box addresses.

Privacy Statement and Marketing Consent

21. The Promoter is committed to protecting Entrants’ Personal Information and agrees to be bound by the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). The Promoter’s privacy policy is available on the website at the following link: www.budgetdirect.com.au. It contains information about how entrants can complain about a breach of the Australian Privacy Principles and further details of how the Promoter will collect, store, use and disclose Personal Information can also be found there. Entrants can gain access to, update or correct any of their Personal Information held by the Promoter by contacting the Promoter’s Privacy Officer at privacyquery@autogeneral.com.au.
22. Personal Information is collected in connection with entry into this Promotion for the purpose of facilitating the conduct of the Promotion and access to the Prizes. If the Personal Information requested is not provided, then a person will be ineligible to participate in this Promotion. By entering into the Promotion, the entrants consent to the Promoter disclosing the Personal Information to any of the Promoter’s related entities or to any regulatory authorities, using the Personal Information to process and validate the entrant’s claim for the Prize, and to arrange delivery to the entrants (if eligible). The Promoter may use or disclose the entrants’ personal information for marketing or promotional purposes in relation to this Promotion.
23. By entering the Promotion, entrants acknowledge that a further purpose for collection of their Personal Information is to contact the entrant in the future with information about the Promoter or Insurer, including special offers, market research or to provide marketing materials via any medium including mail, and any other form of non-real time electronic, emerging, digital or conventional communications channel whether existing now or in the future.
24. The Promoter will never sell an entrant’s Personal Information to other companies, however, the Promoter may share an entrant’s Personal Information with its Australian and overseas related companies, promotional partners, servants, employees, agents and trusted third parties, who may contact the entrant for their legitimate commercial purposes. Some of these parties may be located outside of Australia, including, but not limited to Japan, the Philippines, Singapore, South Africa, the United Kingdom, Canada, Israel, and the United States of America, and entrants understand and acknowledge that Australian Privacy Principal 8.1 will not apply to such disclosures of their personal information. By entering the Promotion, entrants acknowledge and agree that the Promoter and any applicable third parties may use their Personal Information in the manner set out in these Terms and Conditions.
25. The Eligible Entrant will participate in all reasonable promotional activities in relation to the Promotion, as requested by the Promoter and its agents. This may include the Eligible Winner’s name, likeness, image and/or voice (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same), in any media worldwide for whatever purpose and without notification, remuneration or compensation, for marketing and/or promotional purposes, for an indefinite period.

General

26. This Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by Meta. Any information provided by an Entrant is provided to us and not to Meta and Entrants release Meta from all liability in relation to this Promotion.
27. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any person from receiving the Prize if any of the following occurs:
    1. if it suspects fraudulent activity; or
    2. for a breach of these Terms and Conditions; or
    3. if it decides the person has not acted in good faith; or
    4. for any false or misleading conduct of any kind.
28. The Promoter, Insurer, their related entities, their officers and employees will not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever (whether direct, indirect or consequential loss) including any theft, unauthorised access, third party interference, any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction, or personal injury (including loss of opportunity) suffered or sustained in connection with the Promotion, including through the receipt, acceptance, or use of the Prize (whether negligent or not), except to the extent of any liability which cannot be excluded by law (including any applicable consumer guarantee under the Australian Consumer Law).
29. If the Promotion cannot be conducted as intended for any reason, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to withdraw, cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion or, if necessary, to provide an alternative prize to the same value as the original Prize or any part thereof to the extent permitted by law or subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority.
30. Entry to the promotion is free. However, all costs associated with accessing the Promotion via the Internet are the entrant’s responsibility and are dependent on the Internet service provider used.
31. The Prize or any part thereof is not refundable, transferable, or exchangeable and cannot be taken as physical cash or cheque, in whole or part thereof.
32. In these Terms and Conditions:
    1. “Australian Consumer Law” means Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth); and
    2. “Personal Information” means, for the purpose of the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), information or an opinion about an identified individual, or an individual who is reasonably identifiable, whether the information or opinion is true or not and whether the information or opinion is recorded in a material form or not.
